Bilingual exhibition about the relocation of Matica Srpska from Budapest to Novi Sad.

The Serbian Matica moved to Novi Sad in 1864. Therefore, the management and supervision of Tekelijanum, which remained in Pest, had to be handed over to the Serbian church municipality in Pest. The move greatly helped Novi Sad develop into a cultural center, as well as strengthen the Matica.

The organizers of the project are the Serbian Institute, as an expert partner of Matica Srpska, and the Self-Government of Serbs in Budapest, as a representative of the Serbian minority in Hungary.
