BILINGUAL BROCHURE – LAZA KOSTIĆ (1841-1910)
A tastefully crafted bilingual booklet, published in cooperation by the Serbian Institute and the Serbian Provincial Government, briefly presents the life and work of the famous Serbian writer Laza Kostić (1841-1910). The booklet also presents Kostić's most famous work, one of the most beautiful love poems in Serbian literature, Santa Maria della Salute, in the Serbian original and translated into Hungarian. The booklet was published on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the death of this Serbian writer who was born and associated with Hungary (Pestan-Budapest High School, years spent at the university, and a mission to the Hungarian Parliament).
The volume cannot be purchased in bookstores. It can be rented from the Serbian Provincial Government (Budapest, V. quarter, Falk Miksa u. 3, 2nd floor) or from the Serbian Institute (Budapest, V. quarter, Veres Palne u. 19, 2nd floor – Tekelianum building).
